When you talk about basketball in the Maritimes you can break it down into different levels of competition. There are the club systems throughout the province, the regional and provincial teams, then high school basketball, then you have to look at intercollegiate basketball, and finally pro basketball that was here for a short period of time.

As a player he starred for the St. Francis Xavier X-Men from where he led the team in scoring and steals in and he went on to be named an all-star at the CIS National Championships.
Before joining the X-Men, he played college basketball at Algonquin College.
Volunteer Coach Tom Moller Tom has been involved in basketball for the past 35 years. He played both Junior High and High school ball in New Brunswick and continued playing in competitive leagues sporadically until recently while enjoying pickup ball continuously including today.
A personal note from Tom. I have seen Jonathan in action as a coach of my daughter and when we recognized the need for more programs such as the ones offered by Triple Threat I was excited to work with him.
Jonathan brings not only an extremely high level of understanding of the game but also more importantly he brings a coaches eye to every skill and helps kids understand where they are and where they can be.

It was a Bluenose sweep as both the Nova Scotia under boys and under boys won their respective Basketball Canada national championships just a few hours apart at the University of Winnipeg.
